Overview of ZEB in Switzerland and China (CN)

This lecture introduced the zero-carbon building design and practices within the China-Switzerland Zero-Carbon Building Project. It focused on the definition of zero-carbon buildings, energy use, material selection, and their impact on carbon emissions. Through case studies, the lecture explained how to effectively reduce carbon emissions from building design, material selection, and energy management, and introduced the concept of lifecycle carbon emissions, emphasizing the sustainability of buildings throughout their entire lifecycle. Finally, combining the zero-carbon building experiences from Switzerland and China, the lecture looked forward to the future development of building design.
