Natural Ventilation Potential and Use of Computational Fluid Dynamics in Residential Buildings (CN)

This presentation introduces Vayu Pravah 2.0, a free CFD tool developed under the Indo-Swiss BEEP project to simulate wind-driven natural ventilation in residential buildings. It highlights the importance of night ventilation, building orientation, and airflow modeling. Case studies show how design changes and simple tools like fans can significantly improve indoor air exchange and cooling.
