Top-down modelling of emissions impacts of national ZEB standard implementation (CN)

How will China’s new national Zero Carbon Building (ZEB) standard shape the future of construction? This report develops scenarios of compliance through 2060, estimating new and refurbished floor areas meeting ZEB requirements. By adapting a building sector emissions model, it analyzes greenhouse gas reductions and economic impacts, benchmarking against GB55015 to highlight pathways toward sustainable, low-carbon development.
